160.

Dear Henry,

Here is a little of our today:

Seriously, babe. You kill mama. You are such a sweet little boy. There is nothing I love more than spending every day with you. Every single day is the best day ever with you. You are getting so big! You're getting so strong, and every day you are sitting better and better. Until you see something you want that is out of reach. Then you topple over pretty quickly. Oh well. You've got time to learn! Rolling is still not your fave. You try and then when you can't reach what you want, you roll back and suck on your hands, or try to eat the floor or something. You're just content where you are! We know you can roll, intentionally, we've seen you do it several times. You're just picky. And lazy I think. But we still love you so much. :-)

We've decided it's about time for the swing to go. That decision along with sending the infant carseat to Nampa with Gramma has about put mama over the edge. I'm not liking this growing up thing very much, not at all. Well, I love you now more than ever before, but you're just growing up waaay too fast for my liking. Some days it just makes me cry to think that you were such a tiny baby just five and a half short months ago. We're not even going to talk about the big number 6 that is coming up here in a few weeks. It was all mama could do to not cry after scheduling that appointment with the pediatrician! So, yes. The swing. You can roll over almost out of it, and can grab the monkeys and pull the down. As much as I hate to say it, it's time to say goodbye to this swing that saved us in your first days!

The day ended with a bang at bedtime. Right after you finished your entire bottle (post rice cereal and squash), you projectile vomited EVERYTHING. Yeah, little man, you were a little too overly optimistic of your stomach's capacity. A little over zealous. Mama should have been paying closer attention, but you're usually really good at stopping when you're full.

This was the result:

Couch: 0, Henry: 4. Oh babe, those couch covers are not fun to remove and wash! But, wash we did. As well as mama's pants that were soaked, mama's shift that was covered, your soaked jammies and socks, the saturated blanket, and the half soaked burp cloth. Yeah, that's all I managed to catch from the fountain. It was impressive! You landed some inside of mama's mug that was on the floor - two feet from where you were sitting on the couch. Impressive, but a bit gross.

You didn't seem to mind. You laughed immediately after, and were all smiles through bath numero 2. Silly boy.

In other news, you've been sleeping through the night. THANK YOU. Now, if only mama could get in bed before 11.

Sweet boy, you mean the world to us.

XOXO

Mama
