About a month ago, you met your Great Grandma Lewis. She's been pretty sick for quite a long time, but mama wanted to make sure you met her - and she, you. Less than a week later she went to go be with her husband and with Heavenly Father and Jesus. Mama is sure of that. You know, we'll see her again. Someday, we'll all be together - our family. It'll take a lot of work to be good so that we can! But I know that we'll do it. We're going to teach you as much as we can about how to be a good little boy, so that you, too, can be there with all of us. Family. I'm so grateful that ours is eternal. It's been a long time since Grandma has been here - her memory had long ago failed her, but Grandma always knew we were family, and that she loved us.
Our family came to visit, and to go to her funeral. It was a beautiful weekend!
